Why did we create the Lightweight Blanket?
The Lightweight Blanket was created as a lighter alternative to our traditional ChappyWrap blankets, providing customers with a versatile option for warmer climates and seasons.
How do Lightweight Blankets differ from The Chappy?
The key differences are in the weight and binding – Lightweight Blankets are about half the weight of The Chappy and have a one-inch fold over binding. The care instructions, reversibility, and size (60” x 80”) remain the same.
Which season is the Lightweight Blanket made for?
While suitable for year-round use, the Lightweight Blanket is particularly tailored for the spring and summer seasons when a lighter layer is preferred.
Wash cold on gentle cycle. Tumble dry on low heat.

I bought this blanket as I was looking for a comfortable replacement for an old knit one that had just plain wore out. I have been so delighted with this blanket! It's perfect for snuggling up in my reading chair, adding a small layer on those warmer nights but you end up chilled once you're at rest, or just need a lightweight option to head outside as the nights turn cool. I have many more ChappyWrap blankets than I need. But, I love all of them for different reasons.
I love this lightweight blanket because it is just the right weight for summer weather. I love wrapping up in it in the evening on the patio. And, we use it to sit on at baseball and soccer games. It is perfect for the beach, too. The color is so pretty, and the stripes are so "summery" and "beachy". Perfect blanket!
