Why did we create the Lightweight Blanket?

The Lightweight Blanket was created as a lighter alternative to our traditional ChappyWrap blankets, providing customers with a versatile option for warmer climates and seasons. 

How do Lightweight Blankets differ from The Chappy? 

The key differences are in the weight and binding – Lightweight Blankets are about half the weight of The Chappy and have a one-inch fold over binding. The care instructions, reversibility, and size (60” x 80”) remain the same.

Which season is the Lightweight Blanket made for?

While suitable for year-round use, the Lightweight Blanket is particularly tailored for the spring and summer seasons when a lighter layer is preferred. 

Wash cold on gentle cycle. Tumble dry on low heat.

    I sent this beautiful lightweight blanket to my mother for Mother's Day and it was a hit! She's 98 years old and lives in the south and it was a perfect gift. She loves it and I couldn't be happier!

    Beautiful warm shade of yellow and subtle flower pattern

    I am very satisfied with my first LIGHTWEIGHT Chappy blanket. Perfect for summer evenings on the porch or an add-on blanket during summer nights in bedroom (with AC). Chappy never disappoints with their beautiful shades of color and artsy patterns. Every blanket so far (and I have purchased approximately 10 by now - in three sizes) is very tastefully designed. With no exceptions. Exquisite taste of the design team and excellent customer service with fast response (the latter, for example, should the customer have a question). All in all: Outstanding. My favorite company to order from.

    I am just starting to run out of space for the many “new editions” of blankets I spot each season/year! Every one of the blanket adds greatly to the decor of the rooms. One feels very cheery looking at Chappy blankets. Not to forget the soft cozy material that is so soothing. Blankets have all washed and dried well. However, I treat my treasures with great care!
