Old Port Herringbone Blanket

If I can think of a reason to purchase another Chappy I will! I purchased two Old Port Herringbone blankets. One as a house warming gift and one for my own home. Upon delivery my packaging was open with only one blanket being delivered. I reached out to Chappywrap’s customer service and received a prompt, professional and friendly reply. My inquiry was met with the company shipping another blanket to me. Because of the excellent and personal customer service I’m even more of a Chappy fan. These cozy and stylish blankets do truly wash up beautifully maintaining their colors and shape. I am such a happy Chappy fan!

The color was much different in person. I thought it was going to be a light beige color, but it was darker and had an almost mauve tint to it. Also it seems like the inner edge of the border could have been sewn with a French seam and not flat. Whatever these use to keep the border from unraveling is scratchy and feels cheap. It would be a lot nicer if they folded the edge under and then stitched, or they need to stitch closer to the edge, like shown in the second pic. Most of the border looks like it does in the first pic. Other than those two things, I love the blanket. I love the size, it’s lightweight but cozy and perfect for lounging on the couch indoors or out.
