Why did we create the Lightweight Blanket?
The Lightweight Blanket was created as a lighter alternative to our traditional ChappyWrap blankets, providing customers with a versatile option for warmer climates and seasons.
How do Lightweight Blankets differ from The Chappy?
The key differences are in the weight and binding – Lightweight Blankets are about half the weight of The Chappy and have a one-inch fold over binding. The care instructions, reversibility, and size (60” x 80”) remain the same.
Which season is the Lightweight Blanket made for?
While suitable for year-round use, the Lightweight Blanket is particularly tailored for the spring and summer seasons when a lighter layer is preferred.
Wash cold on gentle cycle. Tumble dry on low heat.

This blanket is PERFECT for summer. I love my regular Chappy but sometimes I don’t find myself reaching for it as much during the warmer months. I, like so many others, was sad to pack up our Original Chappies for the spring/summer season. No matter how beautiful and comfy they are, the Carolina heat makes it challenging to find the need for such warmth May-August. Fast forward, the arrival of the lightweight blanket!! The Wildflower Daffodil blanket arrived two weeks ago and the weight is just the perfect amount of comfort and warmth needed for a summer nap or the coziness needed for family movie night. The design is just so lovely. Like a beautiful sunny day that shouts "happiness". It's a new favorite and will need a companion very soon. Thank you for adding a beautiful new best friend to our home.

I have a few chappywraps but I think this might be my new favorite. It’s lightweight but still has the warmth and soft feel. Branched out with these colors and it’s so versatile in my home. Excited to use this outside by my fire pit this summer!
