This was the very first blanket I had purchased. At the same time I bought the boxwood blanket for a dear friend for Christmas last year.Before I continue know I have purchased 5 more !! The Boxwood was beautiful and so soft as were the 4 lightweight ones I bought this year plus the midi blanket with the sailor dogs for my grandson. The Herringbone is somewhat scratchy and not near as soft,and the edging also.I am looking forward to the upcoming fall and winter ones and I will try one for the colder weather.

Because our blankets are hand-finished, there can be slight variations in softness between styles. Our napping process lifts the fibers to create that plush feel, and depending on the colors and complexity of a pattern, blankets may be napped anywhere from 8 to 16 times.
